The honest answers
Does “booked” really mean booked?
It means Airbnb has stopped offering that night. Usually that's a booking — but a host blocking the dates, or a minimum-stay gap, looks identical from outside, and Airbnb doesn't say which. That's why occupancy is shown as an upper bound. Alerts are firmer: a night that flips from open to unavailable between two checks can't have been blocked all along.
Do I need to connect my Airbnb account?
No — and there's nothing to connect. StaySonar reads the same public listing page any guest can open. It never asks for your Airbnb login, and it can't see your bookings, your guests or your payouts.
Can I track listings that aren't mine?
Yes, that's the point. Paste any public Airbnb link. Only publicly visible availability is read, and the data is for your own pricing decisions — it isn't republished anywhere.
How quickly do alerts arrive?
